FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here we answer most of your frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact us anytime.

  • What do I need to bring?

Government issued ID. Wear sun-protective clothing and bring a towel and a water bottle. Water-protective phone cases are a must. The jet ski has plenty of storage. Some riders wear goggles but they are not necessary.

  • What do we provide?

We provide life jackets and a fridge to store your soft drinks for after your ride. Our spacious and shaded home base also has plenty of room to store clothes and shoes if you need.

  • Is there a damage deposit?

Yes. Our guides will make a video of your ski to document the condition it is in before and after your ride. We charge a $300 damage deposit which is fully refundable if you cause no damage to the ski. Damage is avoided by following our guide’s instructions on the water.

  • Must I make a reservation?

Yes. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance.

  • Do you accept same day reservations?

It depends on availability and timing. If we can accommodate you same day, you must pay the full rental in advance plus an additional $45 same day fee and there are no refunds for cancellation. Same day rentals are final sales.

  • What if we are late for our reservation?

You must be present for pick up 15 minutes before your reservation time. If you are late, you are reducing your ride time. If you're late, we cannot extend your ride time. If you are more than 15 minutes late to the dock, you lose your reservation. No shows forfeit the reservation.

  • What if we have to cancel?

Our pick- up location is exclusive to just a few jet ski companies and we are required to give the marina 24 hours notice before a pick up. This is why we must require you to cancel 24 hours in advance of the date and time of booking.

  • What about bad weather?

Our guides are very familiar with the weather patterns on Biscayne Bay and have the final say about a weather cancellation. We use the best weather sites and are constantly monitoring conditions. Safety is our first priority. Decisions about a weather cancellation are based on conditions in the riding area, which may be very different than your location. Often, showers pass quickly on the bay and what looks like bad weather is often just a momentary thing. However, if the weather turns truly ugly, and looks to stay that way, we will contact you and advise of the cancellation. We will provide a full refund of the deposits if we cancel due to weather, unless you prefer to reschedule.
