So you're in Miami and you want to rent a jet ski. Or maybe you've always wanted to try jet skiing but never had the chance. Either way, you're in for a treat! Jet skiing is one of the most exhilarating activities you can do on the water. But before you rev up that engine, let's go over a few basics.
A is for Age
You must be 18 years or older to rent a jet ski in Miami. If you're under 18, you can still ride as long as you have a parent or guardian present.
B is for Boater Safety Course
In order to rent a jet ski, you must have completed a boater safety course. Don't worry, it's not as daunting as it sounds. You can easily find an online course that only takes a few hours to complete. And once you have your certification, it's good for life!
C is for Cost
Prices will vary depending on the rental company and the length of time you want to rent the jet ski. But in general, you can expect to pay around $200 for an hour-long rental.
